Subject Area 1:
HSSE
Remarks:
The Schlumberger Injury Prevention Program (SIPP) consists of five modules: introduction and body mechanics, body protection techniques, hands, handling and lifting, and stepping. It strengthens injury-prevention behavior through demonstration, practices, and quizzes. Trainers are certified internally through a comprehensive five-day program that includes theory and practical sessions. An implementation by one geographical area is not only decreasing incident rates, but is also increasing the use of good working habits by employees.
