Pour Point Depressant (see comment)
Subject Area 1:

Remarks:
Afton’s pour point depressants (PPDs) are designed to lower the temperature at which wax crystals in distillate fuels start to build up and cause the fuel to thicken. The Pour Point is the lowest temperature at which a fuel can maintain its intended fluidity. Afton’s PPDs enhance distillate fuel performance in cold weather, prevent fuel filter plugging, and allow the engine to run reliably at lower temperatures.
